Defending Jacob Summary,

a novel by, William Landay, is a chilling story of a family torn by lies.  Jacob, Andy Barber the assistant district attorney’s son is accused of killing one of his classmates.  Before all the evidence against Jacob comes to light, Andy is assigned to the case.  Everyone thinks Andy has somehow helped Jacob cover up his crime. This story has many twists and turns, keeping the reader wanting more right up until the final twist.  Each character is so well developed you can feel their pain.  This isn’t your average courtroom novel.  What would you do to hold your family together?  Or how far would you go to do the right thing?
