Peppermint Bark Brownies

If you love peppermint bark candy, you will love these peppermint bark brownies. They are delicious and festive.

Ingedients

Boxed brownie mix, made according to the directions. I used Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate with Chocolate Chips.

Icing:

4 oz softened cream cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 – 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Use more or less depending how sweet you want your icing.

1 crushed candy cane for garnish

Festive sprinkles

1 drop red food coloring

Blend the ingredients with a hand mixer then stir in 1 drop of red food coloring. After the brownies have been cooled and cut, pipe frosting on each brownie in a snowball pattern and garnish with crushed peppermint and sprinkles or before you cut the brownies, spread the icing with a spatula, garnish and then cut.

These Peppermint Bark Brownies will be a holiday tradition.
